It might be a difficult and challenging task to have and maintain healthy skin. Having clear skin appears to be a difficult task for some people where as it's maintenance is also an important issue. Our skin needs regular nourishment and care, to appear healthy, but on a daily basis. This task can be achieved by following certain steps. 1. Face shall be washed daily at least once: This is a compulsory activity. If one has to go out in the morning, he or she must wake earlier to ensure face wash. This will help a lot if one is in a hurry. Things should be scheduled on the priority basis to avoid any thing important from being missed. It is also very important to clean the face once it is exposed to outdoor conditions e.g. dust etc.2. Use of oil-free moisturizers with SPF It is important to know that face dryness results in more oil production i.e. it may lead to more breakouts which is very harmful for acne. A good moisturizer that does not clog pores but moisturizes and hydrates skin can be a great help to keep the skin fresh. This shall be done regularly as a preventive measure. 3. Good quality facial masks:Facial masks are great revitalizing agents that refresh the skin deep under the pores. There is a variety of facial masks available in the market. Those which contain sulfur are quite useful as they remove dirt and bacteria on the skin as well as prevent the formation of new acne. Careful selection of the product is necessary. 4. Eating healthy foodIntake of healthy food is very essential because fruits and vegetables flush out impurities keeping skin healthy as well as preventing it from acne. Taking ample water and a lot of fresh fruit juices that are not only tasty and refreshing but also helpful to get rid of the acne problem. Taking fruits and vegetables in form of fresh salads is very useful for the health in general and skin specifically.5. Sleeping habitHaving insufficient sleep results in physiological stress and at times in hormonal imbalance can further cause acne and pimples on the skin. A healthy body requires about 8 hours of sleep, and 8-10 hours in youngsters to relax and recover from stress. It is suggested to have comfortable sleep, more over taking fresh water before going to bed play an important role to remove acne causing bacteria from the body.
